DermCheck Dermatology - Online Dermatologist App Reviews

Seems like a cool idea to check up and get info on a variety of dermatological conditions through your phone and snapping pics. I checked out dandruff and it was interesting. Only downside now is that the area of coverage is limited to a few states. Hopefully it shows up in Canada soon!

I had an acne breakout and downloaded dermcheck after a friend recommended it. Couldnt be happier - got a prescription, acne looks much better within a few weeks. Def recommend.

I have acne. I used this app to connect with a dermatologist. It is amazing. The dermatology office electronically sent prescription to the pharmacist. I have psoriasis and I will use the app for it next time as well. Well made. Simple to use. Thanks guys.

I dont usually ever write reviews, but I have to for this app, since it has helped me so much. I started getting really bad adult acne after having my second child. And it has gotten much worse in the last 3 months. My insurance wont pay for dermatology appointments, so I tried every over the counter available. And nothing worked. I was able to get help from the doctors within a few short hours and was helped better than expected. I had questions that I wasnt sure I would even get a reply to, and sure enough, within an hour I was emailed back. The doctor was very nice, informative, helpful, and understanding. I will recommended this app to anyone that has dermatology needs. Thank you so much!

I am 56 years old. I have had psoriasis for the past many years. Unfortunately it is tough to get to see my dermatologist. I use this app. I got a response back quickly. I think this is amazing. My daughter has acne me and I will have her use this app to see dermatologist. Thank you Guys. One area of improvement. In addition to Acne and psoriasis, I would like to see other areas of dermatology to be covered hair loss, eczema, which my wife has and dry skin.

I love this app. I used this app for my acne. The dermatologist electronically submitted my meds to my pharmacist.then the surprising thing was that the pharmacist called me to tell me the medications are ready. Its an amazing app. Love it.

I had an underwhelming experience at a local Dermatology office. It was difficult to arrange, time consuming, and expensive. I just wanted my skin to be healthy again. So I googled same day dermatology appointment and came across this app. It provided professional advise for a low price and convenience. If they add Facetime to it, dermatology office visits will be obsolete. Thanks for the awesome service.

Its great and useful app for taking care of your skin without visiting doctors office. Just choose your problem, take a photo and you will get feedback. Its really easy to use app. Definitely recommend it.

Very interesting app! I honestly did not know that the red itchy spots on my forearm was called Psoriasis. Ive signed up to get free ointment or whichever treatment and also took my pictures of it. Im liking this app already!!! Im gonna share this app with my friend who has very bad acne. Great app!!!

This is the most convenient app Ive seen.. I got result back in 1 day and prescription sent to pharmacy .. Will keep this app..

What I find intriguing about DermCheck App is that it provides real medical consultation by licensed dermatologists and not just an app of medical information. Having said that, it is only useful if you live in either California or Maryland and have one of 9 listed conditions including acne, cold sore, dandruff, dry skin, eczema, male hair loss, mole, psoriasis, or rosacea. They dont take medical insurance at this time. For a flat rate of USD 37.50 you get to have a photo diagnosis of your dermatologic condition, including a prescription sent to your pharmacy and a 30 day follow up period. Pretty good deal if you fall into the targeted demographics. Better yet they offer California residents 3 free virtual dermatological consultations through October 31, 2015. What a fantastic deal. The one downside I see is they cannot perform biopsy of your skin lesion. I suspect you will be referred for that if it is indicated.

This is really cool app that allows you to get virtual consultation with a dermatologist by submitting photo of your skin condition. The app has beautiful design and easy to navigate.

This app allows me to get valuable information about my specific condition, without having to visit a costly doctor. The app is simple, easy to understand, and easy to use. Take a quick photo of your affected area, and get a useful response about your condition. In being specific, instead of attempting be fully comprehensive, the app meets all the needs you could have on skin conditions. Very useful.

I cant believe how easy the process was. I sent my pictures in the evening, had my results the next morning and my prescription was ready at my pharmacy. I would recommend this app to everyone!

I had a mole before a party and was in real trouble. Then I came across this app. I posted and got a response in less than 6 hours. And believe me it really saved the day. Its easy and very convenient. Just post pic and get the response. Keep up the good works!

thank you for this app it really helped with my acne as i goto the dermatologist every week and my acne still has not cleaned up. Im in Highschool so im very self concious about this

But nothing has happened. I sent in pics and gave my information but have not heard back from anyone. Its been 3 days. When you press the button to contact support, it takes you to a blank screen. Im beginning to think this is too good to be true and those other reviews are fake.
